AASU Soccer Ascends To No. 14 In NSCAA Poll


SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong Atlantic State women's soccer squad moved up seven spots to No. 14 in the final NSCAA DII Top 25 Coaches' Poll for the regular season.

Fresh off of their first-ever PBC Tournament Championship, the Pirates (15-3-3) are one of two PBC teams that appear in the final regular season poll, as well as one of two PBC teams that are still competing in NCAA Regional play.

Columbus State comes in at No. 18 in the poll. Southeast region top seed Carson-Newman is No. 7, the only other Southeast Region squad that appears in the poll this week.

The Pirates will begin play in the NCAA Southeast Region on Friday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m. The third-seeded Pirates will take on the sixth-seeded Crusaders of Belmont Abbey, the Conference Carolinas champion.
